But if you’re short on time or just want a quicker, lighter experience, meet Chibi Explorer—our express version. It’s a fast, fun way to discover your main NXT Archetype (one of 32) without diving into the full 512-Type detail or all the validation checks. Think of it as a casual insight rather than a deep dive.
And yes—“Chibi” is Japanese slang for “small,” often used for cute, stubby characters with big heads and eyes. We borrowed it to reflect this downsized, lighter version of the NXT Type Explorer.
Why did you make an express test?
Over the years, we’ve received countless requests for a “shorter” version of the NXT Type Explorer—usually from users who love the full test but know that their friends absolutely won’t sit through an hour-long deep dive into their psyche.
And honestly, we understand. Not everyone wakes up excited to answer dozens of introspective questions. Some people just want to poke the system and see what happens.
Plus, let’s face it: many have been burned by personality tests before, mis-typed, misunderstood, or tossed into overly simplified boxes. Diving into another long test can feel like emotional déjà vu.
After a long internal debate (and many cups of matcha), we eventually admitted the truth: a fast, accessible version might actually help more people than it harms. The Express Version is designed to be quick, simple, and accessible—you can finish it in just 10 minutes. At the end, you’ll also receive an accuracy score based on your selections.
The Complete NXT Type Explorer, on the other hand, is the full deep-dive experience. It takes about 55 minutes and identifies not only your 32 Archetype but also your potential 512-Type if you meet the criteria. It also reveals your Type Rhythm and Type Energy, giving you a richer understanding of who you are beneath the surface.
This full version includes multiple validation checks designed to catch inconsistencies and prevent mistyping. Your results also come with a detailed breakdown—including the percentage distribution of all eight cognitive functions—to give you a comprehensive insight into your cognitive composition.
